We got plenty of shopping centres in Helsinki area. One of them is Iso Omena (which translates to Big Apple, the nickname of New York City). The mall is actually located in Espoo city – not Helsinki – but in Helsinki Metropolitan area nonetheless. I think it’s pretty typical shopping centre with modern architecture, million shops and “shop-eat-cinema-at-same-visit” style. There is something that it’s not so common amongst the shopping centres though: it has apartments and those are directly connected to the Iso Omena mall.
