HDR in Helsinki: Kolmen Sepän Patsas

Kolmen sepän patsas is a famous sculpture in the downtown Helsinki. It depicts three naked smiths hammering on an anvil. The prominent department store, Stockmann, lies next to it. When I opened the pic in graphics editing program I noticed some black spots in the smiths’ body. After taking a closer look I noticed they are holes. I checked Wikipedia and it said they are caused by a bombing in war 70 years ago. Nowadays, the sculpture is a popular meeting place and some minor happenings are held there from time to time. For example, in summertime street musicians play at Kolmen sepän patsas.
