HDR in Helsinki: Kulosaaren Hautausmaa

by admin on Apr 3, 2012

Do you know what Kulosaaren hautausmaa is? It’s a cemetery we saw at twilight from subway car when travelling from eastern Helsinki to downtown. We were on our way to photograph the Earth Hour (well is there much to photograph anyway with lights off and everything?) but decided to hop off at Kulosaari and take a look at this graveyard in dark. It was quite a small cemetery and the chapel was small too, only little lamp lit on top of the door. After this we continued for Earth Hour blackout to downtown. Dark times, indeed, and not only in Kulosaaren hautausmaa.
