HDR in Helsinki: Platform

Here are the interiors of Helsinki Central Railway Station for you. This is how a typical platform looks like. A concrete platform with some ads and a classic platform sign with clock and track numbers. The noisy pack of teenagers belong to the setting too: they are just behind the train. Apologies for that. By the way, the trains in the photo are short distance commuter trains. The trains that go far – like to Tampere or Lapland – are nowadays colored green. Also the glass roof hasn’t always been there. It was constructed ten years ago because passengers whining about the rain.
