HDR in Helsinki: Silja Line

This Silja Line ferry M/S Silja Serenade cruises many times a week to Stockholm. She cruises through the Kustaanmiekka strait at Suomenlinna sea fortress where this photo is taken. About 30 minutes after this ferry a next one – owned by the competing company Viking Line – comes and heads for the capital of Sweden as well. The ships stop at Mariehamn port in Åland islands so they can sell tax-free booze: many Finns go to take the cruise because of cheap alcohol. I personally think that Viking Line is cheaper than Silja Line but your mileage may vary depending on bonus cars and stuff.
