HDR in Helsinki: Tunnel

by admin on May 29, 2012

There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. That’s the case with this tunnel too. It is found in Pitäjänmäki district. A street runs on top of it. You can see the tunnel in this photo as well. On Summer weekends there are drunkards drinking in the nearby benches. Like there were in the last weekend. They are harmless though, and this time they asked if I can take a picture of them. I’ll ask an email address next time so the photos can be sent to them.

When I was inside the tunnel the water seemed to run pretty fast. Even with the fast exposures it had this flowing effect. Not to talk about the long exposures: the water was smooth as silk. HDR photography with long exposures works here well.
