There are waterfalls in Helsinki. They are not big ones like you have seen in movies though. Not like Niagara Falls. But they are waterfalls nonetheless. This one is photographed in Pitäjänmäki district. The river in question is Mätäjoki. The place is Strömbergin puisto (Strömberg’s park). Not bad, but I bet there are even bigger waterfalls somewhere around Helsinki. Just have to find them first. If you know a place with waterfalls in Helsinki please drop a comment and tell me.
