HDR in Riga: Vansu Tilts

by admin on Jul 9, 2012

Yep, as you might’ve guessed. It’s panorama. A panorama shot from Riga. It shows the long Vansu Tilts (Vansu Bridge) that crosses the river Daugava. And the bridge is not short. It’s 595 meters long. It didn’t really look that long when you were there. Only later Wikipedia revealed that secret.

Indeed the sunset turned out to be colorful. And that was the only evening we were going to spend there. So were were lucky. Set up the broken tripod, take 20 photos, combine them and voila!

Cool, isn’t it? One of my best shots have to say :) Was lucky to have so nice sunset that evening. We only spent one evening there. The sunset could’ve been any kind (a lot worse).

You should visit Latvia again in summer and make more sunset- pics! Sunsets like this are really common here during May, June and July ;)
