A red ship with name Helsinki on the side is sometimes anchored at Kauppatori market square. Don’t know exactly what’s it for. This picture is from May when trees were still without leaves. That explains the rather bare tree in the background. The church in the left hand side is Uspenski Cathedral.
What the heck you might think? “I’ve seen dozens of pictures about the sky. Boring!” There’s just one interesting thing: the sign. It says TAIVAS which translates to SKY. The building is also next to the Suomenlinna ferry harbor. Suomenlinna being one of the most popular tourist attractions in Finland many many people probably see this sign. I googled and found out Taivas is actually a design studio. So probably yes, the sign is there on purpose.
